_Creativity and critical thinking play a far greater role in the success of American business than they ever have before. The technical jobs which are being exported to other continents are being replaced by jobs that require workers to be creative, innovative, and mentally agile.
_
Fostering critical thinking is probably the most important enhancement a company can introduce to insure that its workforce on top of its game. There are three reasons for this. First, critical thinking gets people thinking carefully and thoroughly. It asks them to look at an idea, to play with it, from a plethora of perspectives. Critical thinking allows people to really understand an idea in a deep, multi-dimensional way. Innovations that are based on deep understanding are innovations that will work on many, many levels.
_
The second reason fostering critical thinking in the workplace is so important is that it actually creates a container where agile and creative thinking are the norm. In other words, where critical thinking is encouraged, the workforce actually becomes smarter, more intelligent. They work smarter. They think smarter. They are smarter.
_
Lastly, critical thinking breeds creative thinking and creativity in general. Creative thinking is a natural outcome of critical thinking, and not vice versa. The more one knows, the more one can wonder. The more one understands the inside of the box, the more one can see and understand the outside of the box.
_
Our modern world and global economy asks companies to think outside the box. Institutionalizing critical thinking in the workplace is a way of ensuring that outside-the-box thinking is a natural, and useful, way of thinking.

_ We are available for individual, group, and corporate instruction and critical thinking guidance. We train individuals and groups to think critically, so they can better think creatively. And we ask the questions that will naturally lead to the best answers.
